Big Ten Network to televise WCHA games in 2024-25

BLOOMINGTON, MINN. - Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) fans will be able to watch a pair of games featuring multiple top 15 nationally ranked teams this season on the Big Ten Network.

This year’s WCHA schedule on the Big Ten Network will include a late November matchup between NCAA defending champions Ohio State and Minnesota State and a rematch of last year's NCAA Frozen Four Title game between the Buckeyes and Wisconsin.

Saturday, Jan. 4 – 4:30 p.m. CT / 5:30 p.m. ET
#1 Ohio State vs #2 Wisconsin at Wrigley Field - Chicago, Ill. 

716The schedule begins with the top-ranked Buckeyes traveling to the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center for a game against the Mavericks on Saturday, Nov. 23. This will mark the first time in league history that Minnesota State has hosted a game that appeared on the Big Ten Network. 

The game on Saturday, Jan.4 will feature the nation’s top two teams as No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Wisconsin are set to meet at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois as part of The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series. Last season, The Buckeyes won the league's regular season title while the Badgers claimed their 10th WCHA Final Faceoff title in program history
