VANTAA, Finland – Serving as an Assistant Coach for the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team, Bemidji State University Women's Hockey head coach Amber Fryklund earned silver at the 2025 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship Sunday afternoon in Vantaa, Finland.
Team USA fell 3-0 to Canada in the gold-medal game and claimed its seventh silver medal at the annual tournament.
Fryklund was joined by former Beaver goaltender Mackenzie Bruch who served as the team's Goaltending Coach to earn Silver.
Fryklund will now travel back to the United States with Team USA and return to Bemidji to coach the Beavers as they prepare to travel to St. Cloud State University this upcoming weekend.
