Three Western Collegiate Hockey Association teams were victorious in Friday's conference play action. The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes came from behind to defeat St. Thomas 5-4 in overtime, No. 6 Minnesota Duluth shut out Bemidji State 2-0 on the road, and No. 11 St. Cloud State won 3-1 on the road against Minnesota State.

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Rookie forward Caitlin Kraemer propelled No. 6 Minnesota Duluth to a 2-0 shutout road victory on Friday evening in Bemidji. Kraemer notched her first of two goals on the night four and a half minutes into the opening period to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Kraemer posted her second of the night on the power-play just under seven minutes into the second frame. The Bulldogs and Beavers held each other scoreless in the third for a 2-0 final. Tindra Holm recorded her third shutout of the season in the victory.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes recorded a comeback overtime win against St. Thomas on Friday night. St. Thomas' Lauren Stenslie lit the lamp with two minutes to go in the first frame, while teammate Maddy Clough scored under two minutes into the second. The Buckeyes responded with their first goal from Jocelyn Amos before Chloe Boreen netted one to give the Tommies a 3-1 lead heading into the third. The third frame was a back-and-forth battle as Ohio State's Riley Brengman pulled her team within one in the opening two minutes, but the Tommies responded once again with a goal from Keara Parker with 10 minutes left to play. The Buckeyes scored two unanswered as Amos scored the equalizer with just 29 seconds left in regulation. Joy Dunne netted the game-winning goal over a minute into the overtime period for the 5-4 final. Amanda Thiele recorded the win in the net for Ohio State, while rookie netminder Dani Strom recorded 53 saves for the Tommies despite the loss.

MANKATO, Minn. - The eleventh-ranked St. Cloud State Huskies defeated Minnesota State 3-1 on Friday afternoon in Mankato. Emma Gentry got the scoring started for the Huskies four minutes into the opening frame. After a scoreless first period for the Mavericks, Alexis Paddington found the back of the net for the equalizer under three minutes into the second. The third frame saw the Huskies score back-to-back goals courtesy of Marie Moran and Alice Sauriol en route to the 3-1 victory. Rookie netminder Emilia Kyrkkö recorded the win for the Huskies between the pipes while recording 15 saves in the contest.
