ITHACA, N.Y. - The University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs will join three other Western Collegiate Hockey Association programs in the NCAA Regional Finals after defeating Sacred Heart in the regional semifinals on Thursday night.

Minnesota Duluth led from start to finish in Thursday night's NCAA Regional Semifinal contest against New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Conference Champion Sacred Heart. The first period saw 2025 WCHA Outstanding Student Athlete of the Year Clara Van Wieren light the lamp just over 13 minutes into the game. After scoring just one goal in the opening period, Minnesota Duluth tacked on three unanswered in the second. Danielle Burgen scored at the 6:43 mark of the second for the 2-0 UMD lead. With 20 seconds remaining in the second, Olivia Mobley scored her first of the game as Burgen netted her second 16 seconds later as Minnesota Duluth took the 4-0 lead heading into the third. Grace Sadura scored at the 8:37 mark in the final period before Sacred Heart scored its lone goal of the game less than two minutes later. Mobely closed out the contest with her second of the game with 36 seconds left to go for the 6-1 final.

Minnesota Duluth will face third-seeded host Cornell on Saturday at 3 PM CT in the Ithaca NCAA Regional Final.
