Ohio State Punches Ticket to 2025 NCAA Frozen Four After a 6-1 Victory over St. Lawrence

COLUMBUS, Ohio - For the fifth straight season and sixth time in program history, Ohio State has advanced to the NCAA Frozen Four after a 6-1 victory over St. Lawrence at the OSU Ice Rink in the NCAA Regional Finals.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are heading to the 2025 NCAA Frozen Four after a commanding 6-1 win over St. Lawrence in the NCAA Regional Final. The opening period saw St. Lawrence score its first and only goal of the game as Aly McLeod netted one on the power play at the 6:26 mark of the game. Ohio State's Sloane Matthews scored the equalizer at the 13:37 mark before teammate Joy Dunne gave the Buckeyes the lead with less than two minutes to go in the opening period. After a scoreless second frame, Ohio State exploded for four goals in the final 10 minutes of the third period courtesy of Jocelyn Amos, Makenna Webster, Dunne, and Jordyn Petrie. Amanda Thiele got the win between the pipes for Ohio State while collecting 13 saves on the game. Amanda Thiele picked up her sixth NCAA tournament game win on Saturday. She is now 6-1 in the tournament.
