Another weekend of conference action gets underway on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association as the league's premier event at the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff is just one month away.

Fans can purchase single-session tickets for the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff today at the link HERE. Annually featuring a collection of the nation's highest-ranked programs and best players, the WCHA's four remaining teams will compete for the league's playoff championship and an automatic berth in the 2026 NCAA tournament. The league's premier event begins on Thursday, March 5, with two semifinal matchups at 4 PM CT and 7:30 PM CT, with the championship final taking place on Saturday, March 7, at 2 PM CT.

Big Ten Network Matchup: The Big Ten Network will air a rematch of last year's NCAA title game as Wisconsin hosts Ohio State this Saturday, Feb. 7, at 3 PM CT.
FACEOFF FACTS
In the Polls: Five of the eight WCHA squads were ranked in the top-15 of the USCHO poll, with No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 10 Minnesota Duluth, and No. 15 Minnesota State. Both St. Cloud State and St. Thomas recieved votes in the latest poll.
Race to the Finish Line: The 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff is exactly one month away and heading into the week, No. 1 Wisconsin holds a two-point advantage in the standings over No. 2 Ohio State with the Badgers having 57 points and the Buckeyes at 55 followed by No. 3 Minnesota with 50, No. 10 Minnesota Duluth (32), St. Thomas (22), No. 15 Minnesota State (21), St. Cloud State (18) and Bemidij State (9).
Battle of the Best: The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers will host No. 2 Ohio State this Saturday and Sunday in Madison, with Saturday's contest airing on the Big Ten Network. The Badgers hold an 84-26- 11 all-time advantage against the Buckeyes. Earlier this season, the Badgers swept the Buckeyes on the road, marking the first time since the 2019 season that Wisconsin swept Ohio State in Columbus.
Beaver Bites: In the US Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Women's Faceoff Classic at Yanmar Arena in Grand Rapids, Bemidji State recorded a 2-1 comeback victory and pulled off the upset of then No. 14 Minnesota State, marking the Beaers' third win over a ranked opponent this season.
100 Games: Last Friday against Minnesota State marked the 100th career game for Bemidji State’s Hailey Armstrong and Kate Johnson. St. Cloud State also had two skaters play in their 100th career game, with Sofianna Sundelin and Alice Sauriol reaching the milestone last Saturday.
Fierce Facceoff: Last Saturday, in Ohio State's 3-1 win against then No. 9 Minnesota Duluth, Jocelyn Amos recorded 25 faceoff wins, marking the most in a single game by a WCHA skater this season.
Talking Tommies: The Tommies defeated St. Cloud State 3-2 in overtime last Friday and earned their 11th win of the season, marking the most in program history for St. Thomas since making the move to Division I. St. Thomas then went on to earn the series sweep with a win in game two, marking their 12th victory of the season.
Setting the Standard on the Olympic Stage: A total of 54 with WCHA ties are set to represent their respective countries at the upcoming 2026 Winter Games in Milano-Cortina. The 54 are the most athletes of any conference, in any sport, at the upcoming Olympics.
Making their point(s): The WCHA is currently home to the top-four point scorers in the nation, with Minnesota's Abbey Murphy leading all skaters at 61 on the season, followed by Wisconsin's trio of Caroline Harvey (54), Lacey Eden (53), and Kirsten Simms (48).
