Three Western Collegiate Hockey Association netminders were named semifinalists for the Women’s Hockey Goalie of the Year Award, the Women’s Hockey Commissioners Association announced Friday afternoon.
Minnesota's Hannah Clark, Minnesota Duluth's Ève Gascon, and Wisconsin's Ava McNaughton were selected as three of the 12 goaltenders to advance from a "Watch List" of 31 netminders from four NCAA Division I conferences. Voting was conducted by a national panel of coaches, administrators, and media members.
Six of the semifinalists repeat from last year, including the 2025 Goalie of the Year, McNaughton, and Minnesota Duluth's Gascon, who is a semifinalist for the third straight year.
Three finalists will be announced during the conference championships, and the winner will be announced during this year’s NCAA Frozen Four in University Park, Pa.
