Ohio State's duo of Joy Dunne and Taylor Kressin were joined by Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey and Minnesota Duluth's Sophia Villanueva in earning the latest set of Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) weekly awards presented by OS Hockey, announced on Monday by the league office.
WCHA Forward of the Week
Joy Dunne, Jr., Ohio State (O'Fallon, Mo.)
After a six-point performance in Ohio State's series sweep of then No. 13 St. Thomas, Joy Dunne earned her first WCHA Forward of the Week honor of the season. Dunne's six points all came in game two of the series, where she recorded four goals and two assists to help the Buckeyes to an 8-0 win over the Tommies. The junior forward earned a career high in both points and goals in the game. She also recorded a hat trick in a period for the second time in three games as she scored three goals in the second period. Dunne's six points in the game are the most in a single game by a WCHA skater this season.

WCHA Defender of the Week
Caroline Harvey, Sr., Wisconsin (Salem, N.H.)
Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey was named the WCHA Defender of the Week for the second time this season for her performance in the Badgers' series split against then No. 3 Minnesota. Harvey recorded a point in each game of the series against the Gophers, including a one-goal, two-assist performance in the Badgers' 7-2 win on Saturday in game two. On the defensive side, the Badger blueliner recorded five blocks in the series, with two coming in game one and three in game two.

WCHA Goaltender of the Week
Taylor Kressin, Ohio State, Fr., Ohio State (Moorhead, Minn.)
An undefeated weekend in the net for Ohio State led rookie netminder Taylor Kressin to her first WCHA Goaltender of the Week honor of her career. On Friday, in Ohio State's 3-2 overtime victory against then No. 13 St. Thomas, Kressin earned the win and made a then-career high 15 saves. The rookie followed up in game two on Saturday with her first career shutout as she made a career-high 20 saves.

WCHA Rookie of the Week
Sophia Villanueva, Goaltender, Minnesota Duluth (El Paso, Texas)
Sophia Villanueva made her starting debut and went undefeated in Minnesota Duluth's series sweep against No. 10 St. Cloud State en route to earning her first WCHA Rookie of the Week honor. Villanueva helped backstop UMD in game one of the series, making 31 saves as the Bulldogs earned the 5-3 victory. In game two, the rookie netminder made 32 stops in the 3-2 win. She became just the second Minnesota Duluth goaltender in program history to win two games in their first two games started in a series.
