Badger Blitz: The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers went 2-0 at the SMASHVILLE Women's Collegiate Hockey Showcase, where they defeated Mercyhurst 5-1 in game one and took down Stonehill 17-2 in game two. The 17 goals scored in game two marked the most goals in a game in Wisconsin program history. The Badgers outshot Stonehill 87-20, marking the most shots on goal the team had ever put up.

Historic Harvey: Caroline Harvey recorded her 168th career point in the Badgers' 5-1 win against Mercyhurst last Saturday as she became the WCHA record holder for most points ever recorded by a defender. Harvey surpassed the previous record of 167 held by Minnesota's Ronda Curtin (1999-03).

Hat-Trick Havoc: Last weekend's action saw four WCHA skaters record their first hat-tricks of the season as Wisconsin's duo of Simms, Kirsten, and  McKayla Zilisch each netted one in the Badgers' 17-2 win against Stonehill on Sunday. Ohio State rookie Hilda Svensson netted her first goal last Friday in the Buckeyes' 8-0 win over Clarkson and St. Cloud State's Sofianna Sundelin scored all three goals in the Huskies' 3-2 win against Colgate last Friday.

NCAA Title Rematch: This weekend's action is headlined by a rematch of last year's NCAA title game between No. 1 Wisconsin and No. 2 Ohio State, where the Badgers defeated the Buckeyes 4-3 in overtime to win their eighth NCAA title in program history. Wisconsin holds the all-time advantage over the Buckeyes at 72-23-6.
