Minnesota State's Bischoff & Hansen, Ohio State's Dunne, Wisconsin's Harvey Earn Weekly Honors Presented by OS Hockey

The latest set of Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) weekly honors presented by OS Hockey were awarded to Ohio State's Joy Dunne, Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey, and Minnesota State's duo of Hailey Hansen and Mercury Bischoff. 


WCHA Forward of the Week
Joy Dunne, Jr., Ohio State (O'Fallon, Mo.)
After tallying a team-leading five points in Ohio State's top-five series sweep of then No. 5 Minnesota Duluth, Joy Dunne earned the WCHA Forward of the Week honor for the second time this season. Dunne tallied two goals in the Buckeyes' 3-1 series-opening win on Friday, before following up with another multi-point performance in game two with her one-goal, two-assist showing to help Ohio State earn the 4-1 win and series sweep of the Bulldogs. The junior forward became just the second Buckeye this season to reach 20 points, as she now has 24 on the year.

WCHA Defender of the Week
Caroline Harvey, Sr., Wisconsin (Salem, N.H.)
For the third time this season, Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey was tabbed the WCHA Defender of the Week after recording six points in Wisconsin's series sweep of then No. 15 St. Thomas. Harvey totaled a season-high four points in Wisconsin's 8-0 victory on Thursday with her one goal and three assists. In Friday's 4-3 overtime victory, Harvey collected two assists, one of which came on the game-tying goal with just over a minute remaining in regulation. The Badger blueliner now sits at 167 career points as she tied Ronda Curtin's (Minnesota) record for the most career points by a WCHA Defender.

WCHA Goaltender of the Week
Hailey Hansen, Jr., Minnesota State (Blaine, Minn.)

An undefeated weekend between the pipes in Minnesota State's top-five series sweep of then No. 2 Minnesota led Hailey Hansen to earn her second WCHA Goaltender of the Week nod of the season. Hansen turned aside 39 shots in Friday’s 3-1 road win and followed with 27 saves in Saturday’s 4-1 victory at home. The Maverick netminder allowed just one goal in each game and recorded a 1.00 goals-against average and a .970 save percentage on the series.

WCHA Rookie of the Week
Mercury Bischoff, F, Minnesota State (Cohasset, Minn.)

Minnesota State's Mercury Bischoff claimed her first WCHA Rookie of the Week honor of her career for her six-point series performance in the Mavericks' sweep of then No. 2 Minnesota. In the series-opening 3-1 win on Friday, Bischoff tallied one goal and two assists for the Mavericks. The rookie recorded the first hat trick of her career in the 4-1 win in game two. In the series, Bischoff factored in six of the seven Maverick goals.
